Having my one day off of a 14 day workathon. I shall be taken over Loading on Friday(tomorrow) and then again on Tuesday till Friday then working at Moss Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Hopefully I will be able to get over my post work lethargy and be able to stay awake.
In limbo with the job hunt at the moment, I have a few more applications to make, but mostly waiting for replies, which from experience may never come. Done a chase up email for the photography technician job today as I haven't heard anything in a while. Gearing up for Halloween, gonna have to go round a few bars to see if they want their staff making up for the occasion. I might be lucky to pull off two nights of this as Halloween is on a Monday, so a lot of places are holding events on the Saturday before and the Monday its self. I should also be starting my work experience at the local paper as well. I need to email them to say I can't do Monday's. But it's for two weeks, and I have a feeling I'm not getting paid so they' shouldn't really mind. Maybe I'll suggest a piece on how unpaid internships and working experience are illegal...
The new blog is going well, am I'm very much enjoying it. Still fiddling around with layout coding etc. Might get on that tonight now the Internet at the house is fixed. I am super excited about my first pay check in what seems like forever and getting out of my over draft. But I still really need to get another job to actually be able to afford anything. Have spent around £50 on new clothes for work in the last 2 weeks which a I really needed to anyway. And then about £15 on makeup which I wanted to because the last bits of makeup I bought myself where from change I had lef over from buying dinner. I slightly worried about how I'm going to react when I have money again. I don't know if I'll keep the old habits of making £5 dinners or start thinking "I have money, I can spend a bit more" and then go a bit too far. But I like to think there will be a happy medium. I need to start saving some money as I was living on my savings from three months so that's all vanished. I owe my parents money for helping my pay my rent. Thanks to Lloyds TSB I have money manager on my online banking and it has a little calendar of when bills come out of my account. And for reasons unknown, all the bills: water, phone, Internet come out of my account, so I need to be onto of things to make sure the bills get paid. However, my list of things I will treat myself to when I have money is growing ever more. It started with a bookcase so I can unpack the room properly. This has now extended to a webcam so I can Skype, a nice primer for my skin and some new DVDs because I watched everyone in my room at least twice (And that's two ex Film Students collections)
