Unfortunately my hopes of waking up to lots of emails about various jobs did not happen. But the day is still young. I woke up to lots of emails from ASOS and Motel telling me about their sales. I did not crack and managed not to buy any more clothes. This is mainly because I don't own a wardrobe so most of my clothes are still packed into suitcases/weekend bags/bin bags.
However, I did crack with paulshairworld.com and bought myself some new sweedish blonde hair extensions. They where on full whack sale with extra discount because I follow them on Facebook. I save about £20 on them. Justified.
Spent the morning with a cup of coffee jobsite and jobseekers.direct.gov.com. Printed out application form to send off. Have the stamps, just need to go get an envelope. Applied for a job online and carried on trying to make my Linkedin look exciting.
I need to go chase up some social media jobs this week, but for now I will be babysitting a cafe/bar.
Will do more research on World War Z filming and see if I can find phone numbers.
Today/tonight I will write another CV to hand out to people and try and spend tomorrow actually meeting business owners. Decided I will also get another set of business cards printed which just have name and details on, rather than the the gory SFX makeup ones, to give out to people I meet. Not just anyone obviously, but people who know people.
Hopefully I can make six degrees of separation work for me.
