So yesterday I applied for 4 jobs and 2 voluntary jobs in accounting and admin. My thinking is if I do it for free they won't be so fussy I don't have a degree on it, and if I do it for a while, looks mega good on my CV and I have experience in it!
What is frustrating me more and more as I continue to job hunt and send off CVs is the utterly badly designed application forms. I've had some which are okay, but most of the time it's obviously done by someone who doesn't quite understand tables in worked, and as soon as you start filling it out the rest of the application moves and you have to rearrange it.
Surely if I can deal with filling in you badly made application form and send it back to you looking nice, you can give me an admin job? It's been made so you print it out and send it to them via snail mail, even though they say to email it. The form does not transfer though media well!
