A mini success!
It may not be a job, but on the 27th of August I will be photograph a graffiti event for The Vine: Marketing and PR with soul. Big thank you to Lotte for the opportunity and look forward to meeting you on Thursday!
The email I sent was the first speculative email of the job hunt. And it has obviously been successful. I decided to target The Vine, as from what information I found about them, looked like the type of environment I'd love to work in.
So yes, today has been a slightly better job hunting day than usual. Even with the rejection.
I phone HMV, but the guy dealing with recruitment is doing night shifts. I asked if I could phone when he's in but they said no one would be on the shop floor to answer calls, yet wouldn't give me an alternative number. So will have to call on Friday when he's in during the day.
Going to do some makeup for a promo photo shoot for my boyfriend's bar tonight, look over application form and funding for MAs and might finish my model mayhem profile to see if I can get some freelance makeup work. Yes good plan.
