So in all the excitement of today, some I will reveal tomorrow after I know more about it and can actually write more than a sentence on it.
I completely forgot about the fact I got another rejection today. Gotta take the good with the bad. "Unfortunately your experience does not match closely enough my clients requirements."
I'm pretty sure on paper I don't look like I can do much, and there's nothing I can do about that. On my CV, I have a short profile about me, education qualifications, previous jobs and references. All fitting neatly and not cluttered onto one page.
It's the cover letters I try and make the impact with. Keeping it short, and explaining anything that is relevant to the job which is not mentioned in my CV and why I want the job. Always trying to find out who the email will be received by so it feels more personal when you put "Hello *Insert Name*"
Hopefully this will pay off with lots of lovely exciting interviews :)
